FAQ
What is rugby?
Short version: catch ball, run forward, score try. Long(er) version: a full-contact sport played on a 100m x 50m field with the goal of scoring more than the other team. Think: American football + soccer — lots of running and less stoppage.
What do I need to play?
Cleats and a mouth guard. The type of cleats don’t matter, just make sure they don’t have the toe spike (so no baseball cleats, please).
Is it really that dangerous?
Nope. Smart rugby is safe rugby, so once you’re properly trained to fall and tackle, it’s easier to avoid injury than you’d think.
